Emphasizing this point, the World Future Society is hosting a ‘FlashForward: The Future of Education’ summit in Toronto, Canada July 27-29,2012. This researcher was highlyintrigued to read and learn more about this meeting and the contents for theweekend event. As luck would have it oneof the panelists, Dr. Jim Morrison, is a professor emeritus at nearbyUNC-Chapel Hill and is among this researchers Linked In contacts. Because of this unique assignment and thesubsequent knowledge of Dr. Morrison’s involvement, this researcher has soughtan in-person meeting with Dr. Morrison in order that some deeper insight may begained as it relates to my doctoral research and career and how either or bothcould benefit from his experience and future expectations.
