As our course comes to an end, it is important to point out the importance of your decision to become leaders of adult education, for we are going to need you badly as the economy continues to challenge adults to learn new ways to survive. More than any of us realize, our adult educators are going to play crucial roles in help our unemployed, under-employed, and career changing adults who seek to adjust to the changing economy and its still-emerging rules. We are sailing for a destination still not fully known, understood, and as adult education leaders you will be the pillar on which more and more adults will lean for support through these dangerous times.
