Technology or Culture

I hope all is well on your end. Yes, Americans have a fixation with technology. They oversell it as the way to create heaven on earth. When I visited Greece for 2.5 months in 1985 (girlfriend in Athens), the Greeks pointed this out to me. One result of this fixation is downplaying the importance of politics, which is another word for culture or values, in human affairs. Yes, the Internet will create peace and prosperity. Yes, social media will create peace and prosperity. No, healthy values create peace and prosperity, as we know. Take care, dear friend. Paul
