Elma, yes safety is urgent, sadly, in our schools. Here in my hometown of Mt. Horeb, WI, two blocks from our house an 18-year-old beat another guy to death in the street in front of his home with a baseball bat. That is really too close for comfort for me, two blocks.
Now, the police just arrested three high school football players for drug dealing. Two are seniors and one is a junior. This is very scary for we already have had one murder here by this age group over drug deals; now drug dealing is front and center in the high school. When does the next drug murder come, and where does it come, in the school?
All three of the teen drug dealers should be expelled immediately and held in reform school as an alternative to protect the decent people, who, sadly, more and more, do not count in our country.
