Gwen, this is first-class! Last summer, I attended the annual World
Future Society conference in Toronto. It is in Chicago this year; I
have already signed up for it, and paid for my participation. Anyway,
during the three days of presentations in Toronto - all of them
excellent, I kept thinking of Naisbitt's visual culture cue, trend. Yes, all
of the presenters were careful to have well-crafted PowerPoints! I
could not imagine an audience listening to a speaker today without a
PowerPoint in tandem with the narrative! On March 5th, I am slated to
speak on Futuring at a nearby Rotary club. I am very aware of my need
to be visual, or fail. I am sure you can relate to this too from your
experiences.
