Strategic Foresight Defined:
By analyzing possibilities and probabilities we can take plausible action now to work toward a positive future. This process, analyze and take action now, is called "strategic foresight" in future studies. It is one of the key concepts in assignment 4.2. Trend forecasters are not prisoners of automatic progress or automatic fatalism, or doom. They practice "strategic foresight." They take action now to optimize the positive trends and their future scenarios over negative ones.
