Lisa, experts at the World Future Society conference in 2012 in Toronto, which your humble servant here attended, argued that the trend for higher education will be toward apprenticeships and entrepreneurship, and away from degrees. They projected a 10% overall decline in enrollment in higher education for the next five years. This in effect would cut higher education enrollments in half! The experts argued that more and more people will use tuition money to start businesses instead of get degrees. What do you think of this forecast?
