Personal Professional Update: Every two years, the State of Wisconsin through its university extension selects a class of 20-30 emerging leaders in our state. This class attends over two years eleven all-day workshops in various parts of the state on development issues, which culminates in a two-week foreign field trip to assess parallel issues in other countries. The class ending in 2014 just got back from Tanzania! Your humble servant here has received an invitation to apply to be a member of the 2014-2016 class! I am in the process of submitting it. I am eager to assess how future studies can help to move our people forward and then act on it! Thanks for listening. Dr. Rux
