Power of Habits to Shape Perceptions about Future

Todd, this is excellent and insightful.  You have done an honest self-evaluation with the Fullan checklist.  You conclude with a powerful insight.  You point out that our behaviors are as a rule the results of habits that we have formed over the years.  As a rule, it takes at least twenty-one days to break a habit in order to learn a new habit.  Think diet here!  The same logic, as you suggest, applies to our professional behaviors.  Be aware of our habits, break bad ones, and learn new ones.  This is another example of our continuous need to unlearn as well as learn.  They go hand in hand.  Out with the old, bad habits and in with the new, healthy habits!  - Joke:  "No, I am on a diet and do not need an ice cream cone, thank you."  Dr. Rux
