AS IF trumps AS IS

Thank you for sharing your "war stories" from the frontlines of education with your humble servant here. I loved your observation about creating the image now of the person you want to be in the future! Napoleon Hill in his classic Think and Grow Rich makes the same argument. He states, "Act as if..." This is the opposite of "as is." Act "as if" we are the winners we want to be! Your humble servant here thanks you for reminding him of this. He needs to focus on "As If" instead of "As Is" if he wants to progress.
